Insight Communication / Who Are They

Insight communications is the 9th largest cable operator in the United States with approximately 750,000 customer relationships in the three contiguous states of Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio. Insight offers bundled, analog and digital video, broadband internet, and voice telephone services.

Breakup of Insight Midwest partnership:

On Monday, April 2, 2007, Insight and Comcast announced that they were unraveling Insight Midwest partnership, a group of cable systems that were managed by Insight under the Insight name, but with equal ownership shared between Comcast and Insight. In the split Comcast acquired as direct customers the Illinois subscribers and most of the Indiana subscribers. Insight gained complete ownership of cable systems in Kentucky, Evansville, Indiana and Columbus, Ohio. This transaction removed Insight from the Illinois market, as well as much of the Indiana market.

Insight / Contract Renewed

Insight communications, a full-service communications company in the Midwest, has renewed its contract for Converges' (CVG) relationship management solutions for another three years.

Converges' ICOMS business support solution provides Insight with the scalability it needs to support its 760,000 customers, as well as a universal view of its customers regardless of number of services, according to Converhys.

Insight will continue to collect revenue from video, high-speed data and telephone customers via a single, cost efficient platform. It will also be able to launch innovative new marketing campaigns and targeted advanced service offerings.

Insight / Customer Satisfaction

Customer satisfaction is what Insight strives for. To achieve that the company applies various research methods to get feedback from customers. This allows Insight to understand the needs of its customers and be as flexible as possible to ensure full customer satisfaction.
