To add more punch, there is an estimated 3.3 billion mobile phone users worldwide. That number surpasses the number of people who have access to the web. Owning a cell phone is so common. In countries like the Philippines over 60 million text messages are sent everyday. Mobile social networking is also very popular in other Asian countries like Japan and Korea due to cheap and competitive phone rates and excellent reception.

Mobile social networking is also more advantageous than using a desktop or laptop. The cell phone is portable and light, and batteries last twice as long. Looks like mobile social networking is here to stay. There is nothing that you can do with your cell phone that you cannot do with your computer. You can share blogs, photos, videos, keep in touch and stay in touch via your mobile phone.
