River Plate Fulfillment is bringing you this series of pages on QVC and HSN (Home Shopping Network) because many of our customers sell products and buy products wholesale. QVC and HSN are giants in the selling and buying world, and there can be much to be learned from these leaders.

QVC Affiliates / What is an Affiliate?

An 'affiliate' is an online publisher or partner who has access to traffic.

Affiliates are traditionally website owners who can send traffic, via links to your site. They do this on the basis that any sales generated from this traffic will earn them a mutually agreed-upon commission. Within this example a 'merchant' is an online retailer with a transactional website where one can buy products or services.

QVC Affiliates / What is QVC?

QVC is one of the largest multimedia retailers in the world. QVC is committed to providing its customers with the most innovative and contemporary products, whether it is beauty, fashion, jewelry or home products. Its programming is distributed to approximately 95 million homes in the US, available in both analog and HD.

QVC also has subsidiaries in the UK, Germany and Japan. QVC is the world's favorite TV shopping channel. As one of the spokespeople says, "Our online department store, qvcuk.com, with over 15,000 products online, means customers are spoiled for choice. QVC is a virtual shopping center where customers can shop for quality merchandise 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 364 days a year via television, telephone or computer."

When you become a QVC affiliate and direct your customers to qvc.com, you will receive a revenue share of 5% on all sales made by your visitors. All affiliates when using QVC tracking links MUST not edit the links pulled from the system.

Joining the Affiliate Window network gives you access to hundreds of merchants offering CPA commissions and incentives for promoting their products and services. Before you start to earn money from merchants on our network we ask brand new affiliates to complete a 'network application form'. This form asks you to disclose some basic details about you and websites such as your; name, address and main promotion methods. The application process also requires you to verify your name and address details by making a small payment to Affiliate Window by Credit or Debit card.

This payment is credited directly into your new affiliate account the moment your account is activated and will be paid back as part of your first affiliate payment. The fee is designed to discourage unscrupulous affiliates intent on making dishonest or fraudulent commissions from merchants on the Affiliate Window network.

On the rare occasion that an application is rejected you will receive an email within one working day from a member of our Administration Team identifying how you can resolve the problem.

Affiliate Window reserve the right not to return the fee to affiliates who are judged to be intent on malicious or fraudulent activity.
