QVC Hosts...

River Plate Fulfillment is bringing you this series of pages on QVC and HSN (Home Shopping Network) because many of our customers sell products and buy products wholesale. QVC and HSN are giants in the selling and buying world, and there can be much to be learned from these leaders.

The services we provide (Pick and Pack in Southern California, Nationwide Trucking, and fulfillment in California...to name a few) could not be without the loyalty and trust that our clients' relationship is built upon. QVC Hosts

QVC hosts undergo extensive training and must pass through a rigorous audition process. They must be able seamlessly inform the audience about all the various products in an entertaining and professional way. Prior to hosting, the candidates have worked with the broadcasting department of QVC to discuss how they are going to deliver the information to the audience. To have a better understanding of the products, they even do some traveling when necessary.

There were several former QVC hosts, namely Ron Maestri, Steve Bryant, Christa Pitts, and Molly Daly. What are these professional doing now?

Molly Daly pursued her career as a news anchor. Christa Pitts started her own consulting firm. Steve Bryant continued his interest for music and Ron Maestri decided to host a different program but now hopes to be a QVC host again. The credentials of these pros made them capable of trying different careers. It speaks of their excellent caliber that their level of professionalism is what QVC has been requiring their hosts to have for many years now.

Here are some of the QVC hosts from the United States, and their signature shows:

JILL BAUER - “You’re Home with Jill”. She has featured products for cooking, home, sports, jewels, and fashion.
SANDRA BENNETT - “Whole You with Sandra”. She had been a writer on topics of beauty, health, and fitness for three years before she started to become a host trainee of QVC.
JAYNE BROWN - She has 15 years of experience and exposure to product knowledge before she started to become part of the apparel buying team of QVC in 1998.
RICK DOMEIER - “Home Projects with Rick and Dan”. Rick was a theatre actor and has appeared in a few television shows before he started to become a host trainee of QVC in 1994.
SHARON FAETSCH - She has portrayed theatre roles and has experiences in television before she started to become a QVC host in 2003.
JACQUE GONZALES - Started hosting QVC in 2003.
CAROLYN GRACIE - Started hosting QVC in 2005.
DAN HUGHES - “QVC This Morning” and “For Race Fans Only”
PAT JAMES DEMENTRI - “QVC This Morning”
DAVE JAMES - Winner of QVC’s 2004 Program Host Search Auditions where millions of Americans voted for him.
GABRIELLE KERR – Started as a program host of QVC in 2007.
SHAWN KILLINGER – Host of Q Check.
LISA MASON – Started as a program host of QVC in 1995.
ANTONELLA NESTER – She had been a medical technologist for 17 years before she started hosting for QVC in 2004.
